Background

Andi is the Founder and Managing Partner of Cakra Adhyaksa Law. His practice spans corporate strategic advisory, litigation and arbitration, labour and employment, property and real estate, private wealth and HNWI matters, and sensitive corporate investigations.

He advises corporate and private clients, including families with global asset portfolios, on complex legal and commercial matters. Before founding the firm, Andi practised at two leading UK-affiliated law firms in Indonesia, where he worked on major disputes and complex cross-border and transactional matters.

Andi graduated cum laude from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada. During his studies, he was named the Faculty's Outstanding Student (Mahasiswa Berprestasi) for three consecutive years.

    Represented a Malaysian government agency and its investment subsidiary in a Singapore International Arbitration Centre dispute concerning shareholder rights in an Indonesian listed company, with a value exceeding USD 700 million.

    Represented a Singapore-based multinational construction company in a BANI arbitration concerning subsea pipeline installation for a state-owned oil and gas company, with a dispute value of USD 25 million.

    Led litigation for a state-linked workforce provider in the energy sector arising from a circa Rp42 billion operational vehicle procurement contract, securing a finding that the vendor's failure constituted breach of contract.

    Advised and represented a major Indonesian packaging manufacturer in an industrial relations dispute involving termination claims, regulatory review, and operationally sensitive company assets.

    Protected an individual client's South Jakarta residence, valued at more than Rp40 billion, from enforcement after the land certificate was improperly used as security, including engagement with the land authority and financial regulator.
